Digitizing Commercial Vehicles

Capturing vehicles for sale in dealerships involves numerous parameters, starting with the size and weight of the object, but also reflections in the bodywork and windows (which may require the use of polarizing filters), respect for the sometimes subtle colors specific to car manufacturers, and respect for the real object without the parasitic elements of the decor.

Today income margins in Automotive sector comes mainly from the second hand networks, insurance and maintenance, while the internet generation of buyers won't spend more than 1.5 days visiting actual dealers showrooms and drivetests, hence the internet presentation of the asset is key for capturing the customer's attention, revealing the details and chosen defects to keep stock rolling.

Here, the difficulty is picking the right lens to give a sense of space without involving complex rigging, in order to avoid presence of any tripod or camera gear visible within the frame.
